Ayurvedic Bedtime Drink

So, you’ve had dinner an hour or so ago but you really feel like having something warming and comforting to help you nod off to sleep? An ayurvedic practitioner I saw a few times in the last two years gave me a recipe for the best nightcap: warm up some oat milk, add a small knob of ghee butter, a pinch or more of ground nutmeg and a small amount of agave nectar (to taste). Oat milk, rich in minerals and vitamins including D and calcium is also a natural sedative and stress-reliever. Believe me, I’ve tried so many things but this little drink has worked the best to help relax me. xx
